Computational Tools and Techniques

The Computational Tools and Techniques (CT&T) program aims to improve the software development environments for users of advanced computational systems.

Each of the partners is contributing to the program through participation in at least one of 8 projects. Each project is being managed by a leader who is responsible for the planning and operation of the project in terms of activities, milestones and resources, within the approved resources.

The program has established a forum to present the tools under development and to discuss user issues and the techniques being implemented. The meetings have taking place over GrangeNet using Access Grid facilities at each of the partner sites.

A number of users on the National Facility as well as the partner facilities have benefited from assistance provided by the CT&T program. These users have been able to improve their use of the facilities in ways that would not have occurred otherwise.
