Vocational Education and Training
The Australian Performing Arts Conservatory (APAC) is registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) www.asqa.gov.au which promotes quality training to ensure students, employers, and industry have confidence in Australia’s training sector under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011. APAC’s RTO Number is 30372.
APAC is a compliant training organisation which is approved to provide and deliver nationally accredited vocational education and training qualifications. These qualifications are acknowledged by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) which was introduced in 1995 as a national system encompassing higher education, vocational education and training and schools. APAC’S current Vocational Education and Training qualifications can be seen on the Training.gov.au website http://training.gov.au/Organisation/Details/30372.
APAC hold Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) membership which delivers quality private education and training services and is committed to a level playing field for all providers across all jurisdictions. APAC have agreed to conform to the Constitution, By-Laws and Code of Ethics of ACPET http://www.acpet.edu.au/
Additionally, ACPET’s Australian Student Tuition Assurance Scheme (ASTAS) is the largest and most effective tuition assistance scheme in Australia. Members have access to tuition assurance that protects student fees paid in advance. Tuition assurance is offered to members:
- approved to offer FEE-HELP loans and VET FEE-HELP loans, as well as those
- which operate as RTOs and do not have VET FEE-HELP approval (to meet their compliance with the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations (SNR 11.3e and 22.3e)
ACPET’s ASTAS has been approved by ASQA for SNR compliance.
